Ningbo Zhongxin Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd
Ningbo Zhongxin Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd., formerly known as Ningbo Liyang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., was established in March 2003 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan's Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd. Production ceased in April 2009, and the company was acquired by Jiangsu Zhongxin Resources Co., Ltd. in the same year. On November 23, 2009, it was officially renamed by the Ningbo Administration for Industry and Commerce, with Zhu Weiqiang serving as the legal representative. The company has a registered capital of $13.8 million and an actual investment of $19.189 million. It is categorized as a limited liability company (a joint venture between Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China). The company's address is No. 26 Liya Road, Qingzhi Industrial Zone, Economic and Technological Development Zone, Ningbo City, covering a total area of 150,000 square meters. Currently, the company employs 220 workers, including 22 technical personnel.
Ningbo Zhongxin Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd. currently has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of acrylic fiber, with business operations including the manufacturing and sales of acrylic fiber raw cotton (long staple, mohair-type, high shrinkage, high luster, flat, ultra-fine denier, antibacterial, and other differentiated high-tech short fibers and tow). Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan leads the global market in acrylic fiber production technology, with its products boasting the highest performance metrics in the industry, such as hand feel, luster, and shrinkage rate. Ningbo Zhongxin Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd. has inherited and advanced Mitsubishi Rayon's advanced wet spinning technology, adopting Mitsubishi Rayon's two-step wet spinning process for acrylic fiber production using acrylonitrile and vinyl acetate as monomers and dimethylacetamide as a solvent. All core equipment is imported from Japan, while major equipment is sourced from Italy and Germany.
Since its establishment, the new company has independently developed anti-pilling fibers, ultra-fine denier fibers, bright lustrous fibers, super-soft and super-bright fibers, flat fibers, and shaped-section fibers. The next step involves developing functional fibers such as antibacterial, far-infrared, and flame-retardant varieties. By implementing energy-saving measures and new product research, the company maintains its industry-leading technology, diversified product offerings, and high added value. Adhering to the business philosophy of teamwork and innovative development, the company is committed to strictly enforcing environmental policies and legally protecting clean water and blue skies, contributing to the continuous enrichment of human life.
